FAQ

What is VeriFactu?

VeriFactu is an electronic invoice validation and verification platform designed to ensure that invoices comply with the legal and fiscal requirements established by the Treasury. It uses advanced technology to check that the invoice data is correct and properly recorded in official government systems.

Why will it be mandatory from 2026 onwards?

From 1 January 2026, electronic invoicing will be mandatory in many countries, with the aim of improving fiscal transparency, reducing fraud and simplifying tax management. This measure seeks to ensure that all companies issue electronic invoices that are verifiable and secure, facilitating control by the tax authorities.

How do I know that my invoice has been validated correctly?

Once we process your invoice through VeriFactu, you will receive confirmation that the invoice has been successfully validated. This includes notification that the invoice complies with all established legal and tax requirements. In addition, you can access a detailed validation report, which will indicate whether everything is in order.

What happens if the tax authorities reject an invoice?

If the tax authorities reject an invoice, we will inform you immediately. In this case, we will review the invoice to identify the reason for the rejection and, if necessary, make the appropriate corrections before resubmitting it to the tax authorities. Our goal is to ensure that all invoices are validated correctly to avoid tax issues.
